2002 Subaru Outback Limited AWD 5-speed for sale.
second owner clean title car. i had it for over 4 years. when i bought it engine broke down and was replaced (36000 miles ago). i have receipts for all the work done (at one of the best subaru shops in bay area). it runs perfect. i spent over $4000 on repairs, to make it run like new.
the car is black. this is limited model with all fancy stuff, like dual moon roofs, black leather interior (almost perfect condition), side curtain airbags, heated seats, heated mirrors, heated windshield, etc. basically this has every option that was available in 02 unlike 90% of subarus that are base models. also has cd player with ipod connection and subaru all weather floor mats i can include ski racks if you want as well. it is 5-speed stick shift (new clutch and flywheel 36k ago) and is great on gas as well. Has good brakes and great tires (70% All season Michelins hydroedge - was $800 new probably has another 40-50k left on them)
currently car has 136xxx miles, but all the major work was done at ~100k, so engine only has 36k on it. It is recently tuned up, has fresh oil and just passed smog about a month ago without any problems.
this car was used as intended (been to tahoe and camping many, many times) , but never abused.
it does live in the city so there is scratches on the bumpers, and few minor dings there and there. main paintwork is in great shape, in beautiful subaru black w/ red pearl
i own 2 subarus now and have owned quite a few before generally they are great cars, but they have their own set of problems 95-00 and 01-02 are notorious for head gasket failure. this one however will never have that problem as it has new updated gasket on it, that was done right (machined heads, proper clearances, new head studs etc etc) .
asking $7500 (i know that there are cheaper ones out there, but i guarantee the you wont find one in better mechanical condition)
