Did a check engine light code lead you guys to consider this replacement? I'm getting a P0440. I don't want to throw parts at it so I might take it to smoke machine either way.


BTW 99OutbackLimited, it looks like we have the same car, right down to the color.

Thanks for the outline 99 Outback Limited! Yes, I have the leather seats and the winter package. Those heated seats have been mighty nice so far this winter.


Word of warning, if you have the winter package, make sure you add zero deductible liability for windshields if your auto insurance offers it. Apparently replacing this particular windshield costs close to $400!
