Geolander AT/S Question

The stock tire on a 2011 OB is 225/60/17, would a 225/65/17 fit without any rub issues? It would just be 1/2" taller tire correct? I'm interested in swapping out the stock conti's at the end of the summer and the Yokohama Geolander AT/S tires look very nice. I've read a great deal about them from all the tire threads on this board. Also was looking at the General Grabber tires but they don't come in the stock size, anyone know what is the best size that fits without issues?

I don't know about the size you are looking at but I know when I had the Geolandar A/T-S tires on my 96 Legacy I was satisfied with the mud traction but very disappointed with the snow traction. I was running 205/70/15's though and the size you are looking at may have a little more room in the tread pattern. Mine just wouldn't clean out in the snow. When my current tires wear out on the OB I will be going with the General Grabbers, haven't heard anything bad about those at all.
I know this doesn't help a whole lot but I would suggest talking to people who are running those tires in that size who also live in your area. I don't know what the snow is like in your area, if it is a dry powder snow they may work fine. When we do get snow here it is heavy wet snow. It just packs the tires up and turns them to ice, but it doesn't stick around for long usually.
