I hope GY doesn't force Cooper to change their ingredients....

I have never purchased a GY tire...

I guess that’s two tire companies I won’t buy tires from 🤷‍♂️

Even though my Uncle worked for Goodyear, I have only bought cars with them on. I am more prone to purchase Continental Tires over most others. At the dealership, they almost always put Coopers on the cars that need tires.

^^^ And their naming choice with ASSurance... It is like they already know their tires are 'Meh'....

@Brucey, he didn't say 'hate'.... A bit strong there.

'Strong Dislike' is a better term.

I vote with my wallet. I can buy better and less expensive why give Goodyear my money? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I guess I was uninformed, I was under the impression that Goodyear made good tires. I've never owned a set myself, but I did have some Cooper tires on a previous vehicle and they didn't give me any problems.

I've owned some GY tire sets, none were very impressive especially when they became due for replacement and I saw the prices were higher than better tires
