Even though my Uncle worked for Goodyear, I have only bought cars with them on. I am more prone to purchase Continental Tires over most others. At the dealership, they almost always put Coopers on the cars that need tires.

Nah, but my experience with GY tires is that they have been overpriced, underperforming tires.

I mean sure but Subaru makes some overpriced underperforming products but that doesn't mean I hate the brand.

That's fair. I don't really think about brand much for most consumer products since there is so much variation between each product.

I guess I was uninformed, I was under the impression that Goodyear made good tires. I've never owned a set myself, but I did have some Cooper tires on a previous vehicle and they didn't give me any problems.

I've owned some GY tire sets, none were very impressive especially when they became due for replacement and I saw the prices were higher than better tires
