06 Outback, 2.5NA, 5sp manual

Just took delivery of a nice 2006 Outback with naturally aspirated 2.5 engine and 5 speed manual. Car has 97000 miles, but you wouldn't know it. The 105000 mile (timing belt) service was included as part of the deal. First impressions as a new owner are strongly positive. Having traded a VW Passat TDI Wagon in on the Subie, I thought my insurance premium would be about the same. The major reduction in premium was a pleasant surprise; the agent cited repair cost. Off to a great start...

Welcome.

And yes, Japanese parts made in the USA or where ever are lots cheaper than any part for a German auto regardless of where its made.

You have more room in the car as well.

Since you save money on insurance, you have more for gas. Road Trip! :roadtrip:
