Can anyone confirm if the CVT and/or torque converter has been changed from 2015 for the 2016/17 model of the 3.6R?

Put it this way, they are not in the extended warranty

Im wondering if they are using the updated torque converters during warranty work? Hopefully they mate up and not too much else changed from '15 to '16. Would be a shame if they put the same parts specific to '15 in the car, essentially hitting reset on the ticking time bomb.

All i can say is that i have a 2016 2.5 and mine experiences the same issues as the 2015. I am hoping they extended the warranty out to the 2016 as well.
