So I pulled my engine out to do the clutch and since I have it out I am going to do the HGs as well. I don't have any over heating, but the car has 140K (1999 OWB) and it is leaking some oil around the HGs.

I was planning on using the new Subaru gaskets but from what I have read the way to go is to use the Felpro steel gaskets. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I've always used the 610 EJ25D headgaskets from Subaru. The Fel Pro's seem like an option and yes plenty have used them, but i haven't ventured there yet.

Where did you read that Felpro's are the way to go? I've never heard that explicitly and commonly said of EJ25D's?
