I have a 2002 OBW with manual transmission. After driving for a while at high speed, when I have to make a sharp turn (parking for example) there is resistance like if the rear differential was locked. This doesn't happen when I first pull away when the car has been sitting for many hours.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks.

seems like torque bind. Do a search for the term.

Are all your tires the same model and wear?

there are one or two additional possibilities.
