Hello, I just purchased a 2000 Outback, and am excited to be a part of the community! Here's a picture of here, she's a little beat up, but she has had a lot of work done recently, here's a list

August:
-Timing belt
-Water Pump
-Shift solenoid replaced
-New head gaskets
-Cylinder heads rebuilt
-New plugs and wires

October
-New radiator
-New Thermostat
-Replaced coolant
-Redid the head gaskets [were installed improperly]

and now today she's sitting with 185k miles and running great, except for the slight bubbling in the overflow tank, which i will address in another thread as I have not found a problem similar by search [i may have missed something to be honest]. Anyways i look forward to learning more about these cars!

Welcome from Denver.

That slight bubbling in the overflow is a sign of bad head gasket. I'm finishing up doing one on my 96 OB with 2.5.
