Hey Guys,

Im in need of some help. When parking my 07 OB on my driveway, which is on a decent slope, I noticed a considerable amount of oil leaking from what appears to be around the dipstick area on the transmission.

I cant quite figure out where it is coming from, but it runs down the side of the transmission block.

can anybody help me? or have had similar things occur?

Thankyou,
jarrod.

Automatic or manual transmission?

If automatic, describe which dipstick because there's two, one on the left (driver) side for measuring the ATF in the transmission, and one on the right side for checking the front differential gear oil.

If manual, there's just one dipstick, on the right side, which is the same as the front differential dipstick on the automatic.

(See attached photos of the automatic to give us a better idea of where the leak seems to be.)

Can you tell the color of the fluid?

Has the car been serviced recently , such as for an oil change etc? If it was done by someone other than yourself, did they also change or top up any other fluids, such as the transmission, or differential.
