I own a 2010 Subaru Outback 3.6R and in the market for tires and rims. I welcome suggestions and also advice on rims. I live in the Toronto region and find that local dealers discourage the use of steel wheels because of offset and hub issues. Aftermarket suppliers assure that they are capable of supplying appropriate steel wheels. Your comments/

I haven't seen steel wheels larger than 16" that fit the Outback (you need at least 17" wheels for the 3.6R to clear the brake calipers). Do some searching on the forums and you should find some solid advice. Seems like the winter tire question is coming up once or twice a week as winter nears.
