In TX metro areas the WRX has a cult following and I'd suggest you start by checking the TX section in the NASIOC forums https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/.

Would be interesting to know if Outback fans could find a roost there.

We are in NE Tx near Tyler; just bought a new Outback and had hoped to find other owners who would like try group touring, at a leisure pace. Other groups, Corvette, Harley, BVMW, tour Rt 66, Natchez Trace, etc. Sam and Bunny

Don’t know about here but if you are friend of zuckerberg, Facebook, there is a Houston group. They recently did a camp out thing.
