I have a leak on my subaru that I have found is coming from the bolted portion where the oil pressure sender bolts into (so the oil pressure sender isn't leaking oil it is the part behind it. I used UV dye to find this. Does anyone know if you can remove that and seal it to the block?

AFAIK, that threads into the upper oil pan. That can be removed and resealed, but it's nearly a complete engine teardown to do it.

Just fyi to everybody I did unbolt it and I did reseal it. Took oil pressure sender out, then just unbolted it from the block and did re-rtv it and it sealed up.
