New member from Phoenix. Traded the Legacy in for a '12 Ltd. Outback. We love it. The symmetrical AWD will be handy with all the snow and ice we get in Phoenix. The family has a WRX and an Forester XT as well. I won't have any snow tire questions. Thanks...:D

Welcome! I'm in the valley, too. Thank goodness for that AWD! Enjoy it.

It still won't get you through the flooded washes with all wheel drive, especially when they are barricaded....:D The 4 wheel will really help when you get to go to the mountains up in our country. It was really hot down there this year!!!!!

Thanks. The AWD does plow through the flooded curb sides. The car doesn't jerk to the side like a front wheel drive sedan. I think it rained twice this year. I think the Subie gets excited when anything resembling bad weather happens in this city. :headshake
