I am sure I know the answer here.. but sounds like the "shakes" have been pretty well fixed up with the TSBs.. yes? Never really knew about this issue till I saw a good deal on a '11 3.6R Ltd today.. its a manufacturer buyback .

Dealer gave me the Warranty service notes.. and claims the dealer performed any remaining TSBs.

So - are there still cases that are "incorrectible" and should I simply look past the car? Before this I was just looking at '11 2.5 Ltd's - NOT buybacks.

1 customer states vibration while driving, tech states road forced balance tire and performed test drive and ordered parts as per tsb

3 CUST STATES VIBRATION IN STEERING WHEEL AT HIGHWAY SPEED 55MPH AND ABOVE. TECH CHECKED AND PERFORMED ROAD FORCE BALANCE AS PER TSB 05-50-10R LEFT FRONT TIRE OUT OF SPECS.

I wouldn't touch it - you have no idea what the cause was. Owner bounced it over a 3ft high curb or - was it the tires - or was it the actual shakes issue?

Why even bother risking it? Plenty of cars out there to shop

Both of my 2010's are shake free as long as the tires stay round and balanced. Though I drove one with the shakes and tires checked and rechecked and rebalanced etc - not sure anyone knew what the cause was and it was nothing like my car when the tires needed to be balanced or when I had one tire out of round.
