What Kayak roof rack will fit on the Outback 2011 factory rack? I am looking for something like the Yakima BigStack that can handle more than one kayak and also fit a bike on the roof...(is this roof overkill?)

There are lots of posts on this topic. Some time using search will let you know what others are using, etc. I have the Thule load bars and kayak cradles that work fine either with or without the heavy duty cargo basket on the factory rack.

I have the Sport Rack J-Stackers and they work just fine. You'll need two of them to carry two kayaks, of course. That's what we do. You can get them for a little less than $100 online.

Been using a set of the Thule Stacker on the factory rack system and can get all 3 of our kayaks loaded securely. Just added the Yakima Landing Pad #12 with a set of Control Towers and 48# bars to increase the weight capacity and width. Haven't loaded up the new system yet, but the hybrid mix of Thule & Yakima components seems to work.
