Not sure why my '10 OB does this...manual doesn't say. When locking the doors I have a bad habit of hitting the lock button on the fob twice. Each time I get a regular beep. If you hit it a third time though it changes from the normal high pitched beep to a single horn honk. Does this mean some other type of security measure has been engaged or is it the OB just saying quit pushing the button so many dang times. Not sure what possesed me to hit it 3 times to begin with.

I use it to know its locked from a distance and to find my car in a parking lot. Also is good for locking your car from inside your house.

No thats the "where the heck did i leave my car" feature. It will honk the horn and i think (not sure) either turn on the headlights or flash them for X seconds. Look in the owners manual.
