Hello,
Probably a dumb question but ill ask anyways. Is there any way to make they key fob on a 04 OBW work to lock and unlock the doors with the car running? With winter rapidly approaching i would like to be able to start the car at work or anywhere and lock it and unlock it without having to carry my extra key around all the time to start it and then lock it and then unlock it with the other key. Plus if the lock cylinders are frozen this proves difficult.
Thanks for your time,
John

You could get an aftermarket remote start system installed. I have a Compustar in my 2002 OBW for winters here in Anchorage, Alaska, and I love it. It does have to bypass the factory alarm system, but if that doesn't bother you it's nice. During the summer I use the factory remote that arms/disarms the factory alarm.

If you do go this route, I recommend an installer with a good reputation and experience. Good luck!
