Left brake light not working, changed bulb, still doesn't work. Definitely appears to not be a bulb issue. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and what did you do?

Did you clean and burnish the bulb socket to ensure proper electrical contact with the new bulb? Is the new bulb properly seated in the socket? Did you examine the wiring into the socket to ensure it is indeed intact? Did you try the new bulb in a known working socket to ensure it illuminates properly?

Yeah not sure if the contact is on or not. I'd suggest trying some dielectric bulb grease on the contacts.

If you're trying to replace with LED lights, there is a positive and negative side to the LED base. Try flipping it.

Aside from that I have heard some people having issues with the wiring harness getting pinched or damaged. Try searching for the thread about the wiring harness.
