Locking Hitch Pin Options For 2013 Subaru Hitches

Looking for information regarding the best part for this. Hitch use is limited to the bike rack.

Currently looking at a Curt #23572. I am concerned because the specifications state that it is 12" long. That seems to be a bit much.

What are others looking at are using?

I'm leaning toward the Reese 580401...

Hmmmm... I was under the impression (didn't research much) that the Subaru Hitch has a 1/2" hole rather than the 5/8" one. If it has the 5/8" hole, that greatly expands the possibilities. Guess I should take out a rule and measure it.

Maybe the REESE: 63234?

Thanks for the reply and link.
The 63234 is the one I have . Advantage is that it works on both the Subaru and the van . Subaru is factory hitch , and the van is 2" .
Curt, Reese, U-haul and many others are all made by the same company: Cequent.
I have U-haul 2" and it's perfect. For less than $ 200 it's much cheper than Subaru OEM; that hitch is the small square ( 1,5" I believe) while all aftermarkets mentioned above are 2" square hitches. Google U-Haul and you will see it there!
I have the OEM Hitch. It is 1.25", not 1.5", nor 2.0". Ergo, my question. Additionally, the bolt that is used. I think that it is 1/2"; however, some places on the internet state that the 5/8" is OK (I think not). I need to go out and measure it.

Question at hand is Hitch Pin and not Hitch. I have the OEM Hitch....
OK - sorry about that. Then, I don't have an answer because I have U-Haul 2" hitch and I use different pins for different applications. For my bike carrier I use Yakima's pin/bolt that has a thread and you have to screw it into the carrier. Most bike carriers have this design - the hitch/pin is threaded!
For other applications I have a lockable pin (with no thread) that fits exactly the hole that is in the receiver.
Best is to take a caliper and measure the diameter as you have already suggested or use the pin, that came with the bike carrier! Those, typically, do not need to be "lockable" because one needs a wrench to take them out.
I use the 5/8 version of this for the 2" hitches on my Outback and Tacoma.
