Looking for information regarding the best part for this. Hitch use is limited to the bike rack.

Currently looking at a Curt #23572. I am concerned because the specifications state that it is 12" long. That seems to be a bit much.

What are others looking at are using?

Hmmmm... I was under the impression (didn't research much) that the Subaru Hitch has a 1/2" hole rather than the 5/8" one. If it has the 5/8" hole, that greatly expands the possibilities. Guess I should take out a rule and measure it.

Maybe the REESE: 63234?

Thanks for the reply and link.

I have the OEM Hitch. It is 1.25", not 1.5", nor 2.0". Ergo, my question. Additionally, the bolt that is used. I think that it is 1/2"; however, some places on the internet state that the 5/8" is OK (I think not). I need to go out and measure it.

Curt, Reese, U-haul and many others are all made by the same company: Cequent.
I have U-haul 2" and it's perfect. For less than $ 200 it's much cheper than Subaru OEM; that hitch is the small square ( 1,5" I believe) while all aftermarkets mentioned above are 2" square hitches. Google U-Haul and you will see it there!
Question at hand is Hitch Pin and not Hitch. I have the OEM Hitch....
