I?m looking for something for the family- probably an Outback but I have looked at Legacies and Forresters too. I?m looking for something around 10 years old. If anyone has one they are getting rid of, PM me. What should I look out for? I?m handy- I can do head gaskets and timing belts, and am curious about common problems with that generation of cars. I?m located in Eastern PA and will drive an hour or so to look at the right car. I appreciate any help!

Look or an H6 (LL Bean or 3.0R) model if you can find one.

-more fun to drive
-an extra year in the automatic so there is very little mileage penalty
-no timing belt to change and doesn't have the headgasket issue

Plus way more fun to change spark plugs

Selling a 2014 Forester Premium in case you decide to go newer. Excellent Condition. Located in Twin Cities area (MN).
I'm looking for something around 10 years old.
Then stick to model years 2005-2009 in the Outback and Legacy, a long as the interior volume fits your family's needs. This was the best generation for both models.
I have a 2009 outback. Located at zip code 12405.
