Looking for JDM taillights for 02 OBW

I saw a pair of these on another obw and liked the look. Went thru some threads here, but they are old, so is the info. They use the same ones in Europe, clear on top instead of yellow. Anybody know where I can find some? There's supposedly a Legacy or Impreza model that's a direct swap. Time for new ones now, found a crack and lots of moisture. I'd appreciate some info if it's out there....thanks!

Oooooh. I've wanted these for a while now. Not in my budget right now but hopefully soon, I think I'll go for the center garnish too... maybe get some Lancaster decals, too

The Problem is the center piece. Difficult to ship and arrives hardly without cracks.

I can see the difference in the turn signal parts being clear instead of amber, but what's different about the center piece?

I think the reverse light lenses are more clear instead of the white opaque like ours are. Most notably it says "LEGACY" in the center instead of "SUBARU".

I'll be happy with them with my existing center piece. Besides, I drive an OUTBACK!!, not a Legacy! lol

I've been looking for a good, reliable source of the non-USDM tails myself. I'd prefer to buy brand new units, and from what I've seen the EUDM and AUDM units seem to have a darker surrounding portion of red VS the JDMs. That seems to be what matches less about JDMs on a USDM car. Also, doesn't the JDM centerpiece have clear all the way across?

Brand new units are going to be tough to come by, I got mine used from Japan and they were in perfect condition. However I only got the corners, not the centerpiece. Le sigh, I'm regretting it now and I am currently searching for it.
For comparison:
My BH with JDM corner tails and USDM centerpiece

My buddy's BH with complete JDM taillight setup:

Looks like the clear pieces of plastic in the reverse lights of the JDM model are slightly clearer than the USDM one.

The opaqueness could possibly be whiter with headlight restoration stuff. I rubbed and buffed my headlights, then stuck some Silverstars in them, and now my fog lights look like toys!! lol I'm giving it a shot.My main concern is exact hardware and insulation placement. We'll see, I ordered a pair off ebay and supposedly on their way from Japan.

I thought I'd seen a centerpiece that was clear all the way across, but now I can't find an example. No big deal though, never what I was looking for really. However, I just noticed what the Blitzen had for a taillight treatment. If I ever get a Legacy wagon, I think that's what I'll want.

I accidentally bought a pair of these for my 03 after seeing this thread.. I'll hopefully be able to find the centerpiece alone later, because it was too dang expensive to order the whole setup right now.

If you get the centerpiece it will say Legacy on it, not SUBARU. So I ordered these JDM, and European corners, on 3/12 off ebay. They showed up today! Straight from Japan. I put them on and they look great. With shipping...$130.00 to my door. OEM Subaru lights. Seemed a good deal to me, can't even tell they've been on a car.

Post some pics once you get them installed. I doubt my wife will allow me to buy something like this for her car, but the amber ones just look so awful.

Dammit, now I am gonna have to get JDM taillights too. Sonuvabitch. They will look good. I want to keep the Subaru centre garnish, so it will just be tails for me.

I'll be changing my corners for JDM ones, hopefully by the end of the year. I'll probably get a pro to black vinyl wrap them as well, leaving out the areas where bulbs light up. I'd also have the "SUBARU" lettering re-printed on them.
