2000 Legacy Outback Limited, A/T. I seem to have a lot of lights inop. Can anyone confirm whether I should have lighting at the following areas/switches?
1. Gear position at the shifter. Instrument cluster gear position lights work fine, but is the shift positions at the shifter also backlit?
2. Heated seat switches; I have no lighting at all.
3. Window and door lock switches. Again, totally dark.
4. Cruise control pushbutton switch. The orange bar lights when CC is engaged, but is there a light in the switch itself so you an see it in the dark before engaging CC?
5. The cruise control switch on the steering wheel.

Thanks!

1 should be lit.

2 & 4 should light up only when switched on. Use glow-in-the-dark tape.

3 & 5 have no illumination at all. More GITD tape.
