2000 Subaru outback was stuttering while accelerating. It would regain power around 3-4000 rpm. it finally lost all power. Ive checked the fuel pressure and the fuel pump, they're fine. I have no idea where to check next. Fuel pressure regulator? coil? Im lost, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

The code read for a bad Knock sensor, the part is on its way. Although i dont know if thats going to solve the problem.

knock sensors do go bad in many vehicles, this type is not immune. what is good, the parts are cheap to buy and even the cheaper options seem to do the job in this case.
