So I was taking off the lower engine cover of my 2005 H6 and one of the bolts decided to kill itself as I was unscrewing it:

Any ideas on how to get the rest of the bolt out without drilling it out?

Drill the center out but stay shy of the threads, and then use a bolt extractor to remove what remains. Then replace the bolt with a new one, but use antiseize compound on all of them.
