After a lot of research on a new/used vehicle, my wife and I are narrowing down to the Outback.
We will be picking up a 2018 Outback w/ touring package from the dealer this afternoon for a 2-3 hour test drive.
We will have parents in the back seat to check for comfort while we are verifying comfort from the front seats. (Last road trip with our 2015 escape hurts our backs).

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what we should ask or watch out for?
4 or 6 cyl is not important, we do not plan on towing anything and we do like mpg.

Thank you.

Yes, ask the dealer how many additional items you have to buy when you hit the finance office. Tell them you don't want any fabric/paint protection, vin etching, insurance from Allstate that will pay you $3000 more than your car insurance in case of theft, tire/wheel protection, extended warranty, etc.

The only thing worth adding would be a clear bra of any brand (Xpel, 3M). Tell them if any of that other stuff is mandatory you will not take the car.

Enjoy your car buying experience.
