I have the McIntosh stereo in my Outback. It sounds great, but I'm a bit disappointed that it only has bass and treble knobs, and no other equalizer.

Anyone ever put an EQ in one of these? Where did you mount it? There's an open storage place right under the stereo (which mostly holds parking tickets). Is that a good place to mount one?

You could find ones to mount there in that spot. I personally wouldn't use one because it introduces more noise. But you can tailor the sound how you want it. I have an aftermarket receiver with System Q options which is like an equalizer and it is great. You could even get it in your center armrest console if need be. Brian

McIntosh only in Outback 3.0?

Hi! Is the McIntosh stereo only in the Outback 3.0R version or also in Legacy 3.0?
