As mentioned by cyberdog this size should fit. Will Michelin 225/65 R17 tires fit on a 2012 Subaru Outback Premium??
Can someone explain how this works to me and how the odometer would be more accurate? Just bought some 65 profiles to replace my 60s. ELI5Usually 225/65R17 is the largest tire that will fit and not rub on the 4th Gen. Some models require lightly trimming or removing the front splash guards if so equipped. If you have a lift and haven't re-centered the back wheels, they may rub the leading edge of the opening as well. - Lifts seem to hurt fitment, unless you also installed sub-frame plates to go along with the spacers.
On the plus side, your speedometer will most likely be closer to accurate than with the stock 225/60R17, which create an very optimistic reading. At 60, I'm really going around 58.2-58.3 with the stock sized tires. (I wish I'd ordered the 65 profiles, which would also give 1/2 inch lift give or take).
