I recently purchased a 2018 outback limited, and wanted to install a few mods on it. I was a little concerned with how this might affect the car in the long run, and was hoping for some guidance on whether or not it's a good idea. The plan is for 1.5 inch lift, the Motegi MR118 wheels 17.8, and a set of BFG TA KO2, 245/65R17. The car comes stock with a 225/60R18. The last thing I was hoping to add which I'm the most uncertain about are a set of 1.5 inch wheel spacers. I don't know what brand is best, and whether or not it might cause too much tear on the vehicle in the long run. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I do not know much about spacers, but 1.5" spacers seem a little much and would add a lot of strain on wheel bearings and related components. I suspect it would also bring your warranty into question on some components. Just guessing.

Awesome! Thank you for the insight. I think you're definitely right, I wouldn't want to void the warranty for spacers. I'm hoping the lift and wheel add ons does the trick.
