turbocharge it! Simply put; you can do alot of mods but nothing is going to make any noticable difference.

lukeg199 is right, look at Cobb Tuning and you can see $1000's can be spent on the whole engine, heads, cams, pistons, etc. and for the same money or less you could get a turbo kit with same reliability if not pushed hard often.

"capt. the dilithium crystals can't take much more!"

I am one of the few against turbo charging unless you love to pay $2.50 plus a gallon for premium gas! The fact of the matter gas is only going up no way around it.

How much power do you need and what kind of power? low end midrange-hi end?

Some easy mods are exhaust: headers 7-10 hp
lightweight pulley(not underdriven)
Chip: aftermarket ,frees parameters of limits
cold air intake

More extensive mods : camshafts
reworked heads 30-40hp gain=$$$

although turbo charged engines can be had for around $675.00 if you look around.

bottom line how fat is your wallet? $$$=HP gains

Has anyone used a "Turbonator"? I am more interested in the
claims of better mileage than added power. I'm suspicious of anything that promises both!
