To add to my 2007 LL Bean Outback, ...

.... picked up a 2006 Baja two weeks ago .... $5400, 193,000 miles, and in very good condition.
Needed a CV axle and front brakes but that was all.

Blue Leather Seats, Hard tonneau cover and even had a bed extender the owner didn't tell me about, so that was a surprise.

Ohh, also had a oil leak at the oil filter, 'cause it wasn't ever hand tight. That problem was solved
with an oil change and new filter.

My only problem is ...
... what to improve upon, or upgrade.

I'm very pleased and happy.

Welcome! Gotta ask... blue seats? Don't think that was a factory option, but either way it'd be nice to see em! Got pictures of your new addition?

says here the interior was grey cloth or leather. ...although subaru does do some last model things with colors. like on 2004 legacy outbacks.
or people could do custom leather. (as a fix for torn OEM leather, or just a jump over existing cloth, sometimes with better foam).

Thanks, yes it seems to be in really good condition.

Well, the seats aren't grey cloth and they are leather.
And the back seats are the same blue leather.

I would have thought Grey or Black would have been more appropriate.

I suppose they could have been redone,
but would you redo the back seats also?? Maybe...

Seats look to be original. Even has the typical "worn" look on the drivers side from getting in and out.
I don't know...

Either way... a few pics of my 'blue leather seats'

My wife's Baja has that same interior. It's black with the stylized "Baja" in the center.

That looks aftermarket would be my guess. Nicely done and unique though!

does the baja that you change the oil on, have factory leather? with a leather wheel and shift knob?

I notice this blue one has no leather on the wheel or shift knob.

and why subaru did not offer seat mounted side air, or heated seats on these is beyond me. I mean like 2000-2004 leather limiteds have all these things, and then the baja with leather just lacks them.

(you all stuck with cold asses :3:, unless you swap in a heated seat, or a put a heater in the seats you got.,...or buy a heating pad for the seat top and plug it into a barrel plug.).

Yes factory.

No leather knob or wheel or heated seats. She actually took the leather shift knob from Little Red when she realized she could.

are you going to tell her its possible to put heated seats in
or a wood wheel like Peab did on little red?

(plenty just languishing in a pick and pull rust buckets now).

No leather on the wheel or shift knob...
.... maybe one of the two previous owners had the front & rear seats done in blue leather.
Seems like that would be a bit of $$$, but who knows.

No, no heated seats in the Baja like my 2007 Outback LL Bean has...
... but I don't really need heated seats that much in FLORIDA lol.
