Like many my power seat went inop randomly. I show enough voltage at the plug but when activating the seat it dropped to zero. Ground was good. There is a bad wire somewhere under the carpet.

My fix: Pull the sill area trim over the carpet, carefully cut the tape in the harness (I chose a spot midway between clips), peel it back and look for the white wire with green stripe (mine was right on top), I cut the wire and spliced a new one fishing it under the carpet and spliced it to the wire connector (I cut it at that end too so I'm not back feeding to the bad spot, don't want a potential short)

Pretty quick and easy fix.

Hope this helps some of you.
