Just purchased a 2011 Outback 3.6R with 70,000 miles.
I have set the Nav display on "automatic", but it does not switch from 'day' to 'night' display. Does anyone know how to re-boot the system or update the software? ~Is there a known fix for this?
I have Version 7.0, but do not feel like spending $245 for an update of the map function.

I don't have Nav in my '13 OB, but that bugged the heck out of me in my Wife's '07 Odyssey. Turns out the dash dimmer was all the way up which over-rides the day/night setting on her screen. I wonder if it's the same for Subaru.
