I encountered something strange with the Subaru GPS system in my 13 Outback SAP. Yesterday it was quite cold and the GPS had a heck of a time locking on to any satellites. This morning all was OK.

I have a fair bit of experience with Garmin units and know that some weather situations do impact reception. Yesterday, in addition to the cold there was a bit of snow and clouds. In that type of situation, Garmins do get finicky in finding a lock.

Hope someone can give me a theory other than Subarus don't like cold weathe
