Hey All, I'm doing the rear strut in my GF's 01 subaru legacy outback. I'm having trouble getting it back together. I picked up the shocks from autozone . The new shocks take an 8mm wrench on top and I was using a needle nose channel locks to turn the bolt but it's just not tight enough. Any suggestions? A tool that could help? TIA, Dan

You'll need a pass through ratchet and socket.
those would be ideal

one guy used one of those 'dog bone' wrenches. I used vice grips on a socket, then some adapters to a cut-off 6mm allen. It was a definite ******* solution.
