About to pull the trigger on a 2018 Outback Premium with Eyesight. I think I've got a good offer (over 5% off invoice)

But now I'm trying to figure out if I should include the extended warranty with that purchase (7yr/100k/0Deductable for $2000) or purchase that elsewhere?

That quote is out of state, but If I'm able to convince my local dealership to lower their price at all. What's it worth to have 24k/2yr Free Maintenance and lifetime free oil changes?

Also, I can only get the dealership to come down on a trailer hitch from 650 to 600. Has anyone had better luck with trailer hitches? I've seen a lot of talk about aftermarket trailer hitches, but I'm not confident in my ability to install it and make it look right... not to mention possible warranty consequences.

I really appreciate your help

Extended warranty

Extended Warranty is a Ripoff. It is not managed by Subaru and just they sell this as subaru product.

When you complain about an issue and if the dealership doesnt find any cause (reproducible on a certain condition only) then you need to pay for the check. If there is a fault it will be covered, if not you have to pay.

Also ready the CVT engine issues thread before buying any add-on. http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/66-problems-maintenance/429481-cvt-warranty-extension-2010-15-a.html

Also dont get shocked by the comments and experience about windshield issues.
