Thank you for your leadership in these trying times Brucey, it's quite refreshing.
People call me up.

People call me up and they say.

"Brucey, thank you for your leadership in these trying times. It's refreshing."

Lemme say that again for those in the back that weren't paying attention.

Refreshing.

Re. Fresh. Ing.

They do.

They really do.

They call me up and they say things like this to me.

It's true.

I know some people here won't believe me.

But it's true.

That sounds like it should be a song, but I don't know what tune to sing it to.

Did we we ever identify the boss of @Brucey to get this thread deleted?

There is no boss of @Brucey - he has the final say in all matters Subaru Forum.

That sounds like it should be a song, but I don't know what tune to sing it to.
Probably anything from Motown - "Dancing in the Street" by Martha and the Vandellas comes to mind. And hey, it is summer:

Mr. Brucey is not the boss of me. (flat organization structure here).

Since I brought up the song idea I guess I should put in my nomination. When I read the first two lines:

People call me up.
People call me up and they say.

It kind of went through my head to these lines:

People say I'm crazy,
Doing what I'm doing.

And that has been pretty much what stuck in my head for the rest of it.

John Lennon
"Watching The Wheels"

People say I'm crazy doing what I'm doing
Well they give me all kinds of warnings to save me from ruin
When I say that I'm o.k. they look at me kind of strange
Surely you're not happy now you no longer play the game

People say I'm lazy dreaming my life away
Well they give me all kinds of advice designed to enlighten me
When I tell that I'm doing Fine watching shadows on the wall
Don't you miss the big time boy you're no longer on the ball?

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go

People asking questions lost in confusion
Well I tell them there's no problem
Only solutions
Well they shake their heads and they look at me as if I've lost my mind
I tell them there's no hurry...
I'm just sitting here doing time

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go

Whudya mean? They were uuuuge. And a lot of people tell me they were very good.
I was being sarcastic. One of the regrets of my life was not spending the $3.75 back in 1964 to see them at the Baltimore Civic Center.
