My standard tyre size that I have at the minute are 215/60/R16 and I'm looking for a new set of tyres so I have the following questions (based in the UK);
1) Would there be any trade off in going from 215/60/R16 to 205/65/R16? The tyres seem to be a little cheaper and more readily available.
2) What is a good all season tyre? Currently I have the option of Goodyear Wrangler HP All Weather, Goodyear Vector4seasons and Toyo Open County HT in 215/60/R16, and Pirelli Scorpion STR in 205/65/R16.
The prices are as follows;
Goodyear WHP - £91.20 per tyre
Goodyear V4S - £115
Toyo OCHT - £71.80
Pirelli STR - £92.90
Or maybe 215/65/R16, If they will fit OK. I can get some Nokian WRG2 SUV in this size for £99.
Or Nokian WRD3 in 215/60/R16 but I don't know if this is rated as all season, like the G2.
Just found some Pirelli Scorpion STR in 215/65/R16 for £79, look like a bargain, but are they any good?
