Actually, it's sorta my second. I had an 86 GL wagon for about 6 months. I NOW have a 2000 Subaru Outback (Legacy wagon version) basic package with the weather package. 200,000 miles and I have all the maintenance records. Biggies are the head gasket (ok ALL the seals) has been replaced and the timing belt was replaced with-in the last 50,000 miles. It appears to have been very well maintained and there is nothing NOT working. I paid $2000.00 and will be using it to go to and from work, 240 miles away through 3 mountain ranges, every 4 days. I live in Alaska and I see -60 temps where I work. Anything I should know about? :)

I own a 94 Chevy K1500 and a 1998 Jeep TJ otherwise.

:)

Where in AK are you? I'm assuming northern somewhere given the -60 range LOL... I myself am outside Anchorage.
