Anyone seen the new at3 and they come in stock Subaru sizing!

Thoughts? They weigh in at 31 lbs which put them even with a pirelli at plus and lighter than the falken and bfg’s

I've used the earlier version of Toyo AT's on my trucks, great tire. Are these snowflake rated like the BFG's? Will have to check these out once we wear out our stock Avids.

Thank you for your post about the New Toyo Open Country ATIII. This looks to be another solid tire for Outbacks with an aggressieve all-terrain tread pattern.

Those do look nice. Not too many reviews out for them yet. One that I found indicated good traction in wet conditions but nothing about dirt or snow yet that I found. The review also mentioned that they're quiet.

Yes, they are the stock Onyx 18" wheels. I got 'em out today, put about 100 miles freeway and gravel/dirt, they handled great. Very secure feeling, cornered well at highway speeds. They weigh 32 pounds, so 1 pound more than the Falkens and 6 more than the stock Yokohamas.

I need to amend my original assessment of these. I originally stated that they were only slightly louder than the stock Yokohamas. My wife and I were driving around yesterday and I asked her about the difference in sound and she said she didn't notice any at all. I have to agree with her. I'm the primary driver of the Outback so I could see if I grew used to any perceived change but to hear my wife say she didn't notice a difference makes me think I was looking for a difference when I first put them on. As well, the car definitely feels more planted than with the stock tires. Bottom line, these are awesome. Looking forward to ski season.

Awesome, any change in gas mileage compared to the stock tires?

That's going to be a hard one for me to gauge. I put the new tires on when I had 800 miles on the car so I was still doing break in driving. From the information I have during that time, though, they seem pretty comparable. Again, it's hard to say though due to the style of driving during break in. I am going to be curious about what the MPG looks like going forward and how close it comes to the rated efficiency. I just hit 1,000 on the odometer so I'll start easing into more normal driving going forward. I'll post back on it after a couple more tanks.
