Well I am buying a nexus 7 specifically to install into the dash of my outback for the hands down best navigation radio system for the best price ever ohh and it runs ANDROID who else doesn't wanna radio with android? Well obviously me...

I'm gonna be ordering a nexus and a cheap radio ( for the aux input and volume control (not full sized no CD) probably will put this where the ash tray is ( or put a cheap full size in to ditch the 6 disk player)

A few things is it possible to move the climate control down a din slot?



Gonna use a custom mount so it slides in an out right into the 3.5 jack and micro USB to full USB then split it for USB host functions (hard drive remote etc)

I also would love to interrupt the ignition with a modified Bluetooth (something whatever is easy to modify) and have that with a transistor switch so I can use tasker go pair the tab with blutooth starter when I NFC bump with my galaxy nexus

Are you planning to edit the stock UI to give it a Landscape menu? That is the real annoying thing I find with the Nexus 7.

So you want the car to start up with the Nexus when you "bump" it with NFC? Or just have a sort of immobilizer type thing. Your second post was oddly worded.

climate control is not square so its a bit tricky to move, some custom work would be needed.
