Hello all,
I'm looking at ordering a set of plugs for my car. Given it's got 122K, who knows when they were changed last. Reading here I see most suggest NGK. I went to NGK's website, and they show two numbers under "laser iridium"

ILFR6B
SILFR6B8.

They also list three other:
Ruthenium HX
Iridium IX
G-Power

All of these show a part number applicable to my car. I'm assuming most here use one or the other of the first two, any real difference other than price? I see it has something welded to the ground tip on the B8, I guess to make it last longer (that would be nice on an H6)

Cheers,
John

After much checking, I settled on and bought ILF6RB for my H6. Put about 50K on them so far, they're probably OK.

NGK ILFR6B is the OEM plug, it's what I'd use.

Can't go wrong with the Laser Iridium; they're great plugs. Those new Ruthenium HX plugs look pretty sweet though. Can't find anyone selling them yet.
