Ok let me start with the embarrassing part. My '96 outback legacy had newer front seats in it. one of the many plugs hanging from the seats, I assumed, was for the heating elements. The plugs didn't match so I wired them up directly. After a flip of the switch I immediately found that it was the side airbag in the seat (I'm an idiot).
I pulled heated seats from a '97 outback and have everything wired up correctly now, but no longer have power to my switches. All fuses are good. I saw in other threads something about a relay but don't know where it is at. Anybody have any ideas??
