Does anyone have any experience with the Nokian Entyre 2.0? I just bought a 2006 Outback with 180,000 miles to get me through school and don't want to spend a fortune on tires but want to get something that will last a few years and do ok in the snow. I am open to any other suggestions for all seasons around $500.

+1 for the Altimax RT43. They're on the soft side for an all-season, so they have better grip than average but aren't the longest wearing tires. If you aren't putting on 50k/year or anything huge like that, they should be fine for a few years.

We don't have the Nokian Entyre in stock but may be able to order it for you. If you don't mind us asking, what are you looking for in a tire? We have a good selection of safe tires in your stock 225/55R-17 size, plus we guarantee the lowest delivered price on the internet. Here is a link to them for you to review.

Thank you I have bought my last 2 sets of tires through my local discount tire and would love to buy another set if I can find the right one at the right price. I want an all season tire that performs above average in snow for around $500. Would the Yokohoma Avid Ascends or Pirelli 4 seasons be decent in the snow? Obviously nothing will be as good as snow tires but I can't afford 2 sets right now.

You said all season but just described an All Weather Tire.
All weather tires get very little attention in the states.

They are different than all season tires. All season tires are summer oriented. All weather tires are winter oriented and even have a snowflake symbol, Yet they are designed to be used year round.

The Nokian eNTYRE you mentioned is an all season tire.
The Nokian WRG3 is their all weather tire. A great choice but pricey.
The TOYO CELSIUS PCR 225/55R-17(XL) 101V is an all weather tire that can be had for $110 per tire. They have a 60K treadlife warranty. It checks off all your requirements and falls within your budget.
