I might if i find them cheap. I'd first do a jack holder over the shovel because the one that comes with the outback is not very good.

As it's mostly a road traveler, a shovel wouldn't do me much good

are you talking about something like a hilift jack?

i'm on a few toyota 4x4 type forums and hilift seems to be the preferred jack mounted on racks and aftermarket bumpers.

i don't know of any location on the outback that could be used to attach a hilift.
