A month ago my car wouldnt start so I jumped it and went to OReilleys and had them replace the battery as it was 6 yr old. I didnt have it tested. A couple days later my wife drives it to Portland and it wouldnt start. Some shop there did some starter wire repair $250 and she came home. It ran for 2 weeks and wouldnt start again, had the wrecker come jumpt it as my suburban woldnt.Curise and ck eng lites were on as I drove it back to town. Took it to the Subaru Guru here and $170 later and diagnostic hubba hubba supposedly reset something or another (no parts). Yesterday the wife is running all over town til it wouldnt start again. Im presuming the alternator is not the issue, but I havent done anything right yet. Any thoughts. 50,000 miles.

when you say the Suburban wouldn't start it, did it click, did it crank did it sputter, describe exactly what the symptoms were.

also, mileage, general condition of the car and if there was any wrecks, mods or work done to it prior to the problem.
