Coming up on my first oil change, the way the factory has my oil filter turned I can't get around to see the part number

Anywhere I can find this info for the 2018 2.5i?

I ask pretty much the same question in this thread and got some good answers:

I bought 3 from Amazon numbered 15208aa031 but there are several Subaru filters with similar numbers that reportedly work just fine. You may need to get crush washers too although they can be reused. WIX, Bosch, AC Delco, Fram, etc all make good filters for our cars, I think your 2.5 uses the same filter as the 3.6.

This may be an auspicious time to install a Fumoto or EZ drain valve.

I get mine off ebay by the case. Search around for some great deals. eBay this looks to be for your vehicle.

Subaru OEM oil filter #15208AA15A is for the 2.5l 4 cylinder engine. It can't be used in the 6 cylinder. This is the latest update # I've seen.

An unabashed plug for Rockauto.com. I have used them for auto parts for years. Their oil filter page for 2018 Outback's 2.5 show nine choices in oil filters, with their associated part numbers.
