Hi everyone,

I am just wondering what I may be looking at replacing with regards to my front suspension. All is OK but when I run into a hole on the road, I hear some metal taps from front suspension. I guess it comes either from left or right wheel depending which wheel will get in a hole. Again I hope it is just a matter of some maintenance, replacing some inexpensive parts. It steers well, good alignment, just this front tapping.

thanks in advance to your advice.

Inspect the front sway bar and end links. Broken bars aren't unheard of, and the joints on the end links wear out over time. You may not be able to tell if it is worn until you apply pressure with a small prybar.

If you can't find a problem there, move on to the struts, the steering links and the control arms.
