I have a 2007 outback. 201,000 miles on the dash.My battery is good, I had that tested. I’ve tried to start the vehicle multiple times to no avail

does it smell like fuel at the exhaust? could be flooded, crank while holding the pedal to the floor - that signals the ECU to withhold fuel to 'clear flood condition'.

Or, try some starting fluid, if it fires/tries to run for a second, you have a fuel supply problem.

when was the timing belt last serviced? maybe timing has slipped a coupla teeth?

Check battery cables, clamps, grounds. These are all subject to degradation over time if these are original parts.

Which engine do you have?

I hear a faint clicking.
If you are convinced the battery is good, the problem is likely the clamps, cables or starter solenoid.
Have you tried a jump start? Sometimes the extra power or better ground path through the jump will wake things up.
